Quotations are valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and delivery.
Prices are inclusive of paper plates, plastic cutlery and napkins.
Should the client require alternative crockery and cutlery this
can be provided at an additional cost. These costs will be agreed
with the client at the time of booking and may vary as these
may need to be hired from a third party.
We can cater for any number of people although bookings made
below our recommended minimum numbers may carry an additional
charge.
The client must confirm any alterations to the booking in writing.
Confirmation of final booking numbers must be given no later
than 7 days prior to the function. If after that date the
numbers increase, we will do our best to cater for the increase
in numbers at the additional per head charge agreed at the time
of booking. Payment for the additional numbers must be made
before the function in cash.
All menus offered are subject to market availability. In
the unusual event of the produce required being unavailable,
we reserve the right to alter the menu accordingly. This
is to ensure that our usual high standards are maintained. However,
every effort will be made to minimise any variations.
Where hot food is to be provided there must be adequate facilities
at the venue to be able to re-heat and sometimes cook the food. This
is to ensure that the ambient temperatures required by law can
be maintained.
Where food is provided on a lay and leave basis, Garnishes will
deliver the food as near to the serving time as possible. Food
Hygiene Law states that cold food should be eaten within 4 hours
of serving and hot food should only be kept warm for a maximum
of 2 hours. Should the client not adhere to these guidelines
they do so at their own risk.
Where Garnishes staff are present at a function and it is felt
that food hygiene standards are being compromised we reserve
the right to remove the food and dispose of it safely.
A payment of 10% non-refundable deposit is required at the time
of booking the function. The balance is payable 14 days
prior to the event. No reminder will be sent when balances
are due. In the event that the balance is not paid in full
by the due date, the function will be deemed to have been cancelled. Cheques
should be made payable to “Garnishes”
Where functions are booked at short notice i.e. within 14 days
of the function, the total amount will be payable at the time
of booking. Cheques will be accepted for the period between
14 and 10 days prior to the function. Bookings made within
9 days of the function will be payable in cash at the time of
booking.
Children may be served alternatives to the chosen menu. The
cost will be agreed at the time of booking.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure any left over
food is properly disposed of and not consumed at a later stage. Food
left exposed in less than ideal conditions for a prolonged period
of time could pose a health risk.
All serving platters, dishes and plates remain the property
of Garnishes and should be washed by the client prior to collection. We
will endeavour to collect all of these items from the client
within 24 hours of the function. A convenient time will
be agreed with each client at the time of delivery. Any
items which are lost, broken or damaged will carry and an additional
charge.
In compliance with EC Regulations, we advise that upon advice
received from our suppliers and to the best of our knowledge,
food items do not contain genetically modified soya and/or maize.
We are able to cater for a number of different diets and tastes,
however, it is the client’s responsibility to inform us
of any allergies, such as nut allergies, in order that we can
alter the menu accordingly or clearly mark produce where required.
No responsibility can be taken by Garnishes for any allergic
reactions suffered where the client has not advised of a risk.
Garnishes staff have been trained in Food Hygiene as recommended
by current regulations
Garnishes carry full Public Liability Insurance.
Garnishes is food registered with Medway Council’s Environmental
Health Team.
